Default Problems shifting forever

Hey are you guys meeting anytime soon? In the west Suffolk area. I could really use some experienced advice about my shifting issues. offering free test drives to help me pinpoint this issue.

Symptom: It's harder to shift than when I bought it 2 years ago.

Changed the tranny fluid every 6 months, replaced the clutch reservoir, replaced the shifter, regreased the new shifter, added a counter sunk shift knob. It's like nothing works. I love this car, it breaks my heart that I have to shift so slowly or so violently force it into gear, it doesn't't feel right but what else can I do?

How many miles do you have?

How miles do you drive that you need to change the clutch fluid every 6 months?

Is the clutch OEM?

AP1 or AP2?

Have you tried adjusting the free play on the clutch pedal? If you have not, I am almost certain this will solve your problem.

63k, AP2, might be original clutch, 3rd owner. Used to commute 22 miles every weekday to work but I moved closer to my job this summer. I don't feel any free play, the clutch pedal feels solid since I installed the reservoir. You could be right, it might be the pedal adjustment, but it felt this way for a year, before and after I adjusted it last.

Sounds like a rusted input shaft spline. Can check adjustment and drive it first.
