10/02/2022 QUEENS/LI meetup to BEAR MOUNTAIN Roll out with us from the Bayside Marina. The traditional meetup spot between Queens and Long Island headed to the NY Metro S2ki BearMountain S2000 cruise.
This is easily THE LARGEST S2000 MEET in New York. Don't miss it! SUNDAY OCTOBER 2nd 2022 @ 0630hrs
NOTE : There are no facilities at this location until we get to the BearMountain meetup spot about 51 minutes away.
Please plan accordingly.
The following establishments exist nearby on Northern Blvd. only 2 miles from the marina where you may wish to stop for coffee, donuts, gas, restrooms, etc. before proceeding to the Bayside Marina.
DUNKIN'DONUTS219-20 Northern Blvd @ 220th Street open 24hrs - coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, restroom available
7-ELEVEN / Bp 218-01 Northern Blvd @ 219th Street open 24hrs - across the street from Dunkin' Donuts. For those less discerning about their coffee. Pour your own cup, grab a candy bar, bottle of water and go. Full service BP gas station with vacuums, air, and acceptable restroom accommodations. Last minute "Oh man! I need a ..." items may be found here. This will be the last gas closest to the marina meetup.
Show up with a FULL TANK OF GAS. You will find some sunglasses, a hat, a bottle of water, a GPS or phone with a GPS app like Waze and a family band radio are the bare essentials to keep you comfortable and in the know. see: NY METRO BEARMOUNTAIN detailed cruise info link posted above

(I am planning to make one last gas/restroom stop at a gas station/ about 15 minutes before we arrive at the meet. Make sure you have at least a little over a 1/4 tank of gas to get you here.)
