if you're doing multicar it shouldn't be a problem.
I have a Miata on my policy and it's only 47 per month.
Try progressive. Their rates support convertible lifestyles.

you're 18, right? why not try to get on your parents plan, it'll be much cheaper. i was paying $3500/yr full coverage on my integra when i was 18 or 19 and on my own plan. then i dropped collision and saved $1000 after a yr cause it didnt pay anymore. my record was clean too. no pts or accidents.

try dcap insurance they're a broker so they'll search for you.
But yeah, I'd highly recommend trying it under your parents name if your 1) young, 2) have bad or even worse no credit 3) points on your license.

3 things will need to happen before your car insurance premium goes down dramatically.
1. at least 3 years of owning your driver's license with clean record.
2. get married
3. be at least 25 years old
