how much does a top replacement usually cost? i have a small hole from a tree branch that fell on the top. stupid snow

bsomthin 03-01-2010 09:52 AM

probably like 2500 to do it.. but mine is from the frame on the right hand side and a small beginner rip on the driver. i think they should fix it for free cause its a defect in how it was built.

it maybe 2500 from honda. get a robbins top and have billman install it for you. you will save a lot of money and be very happy with the results.

The last top I did was around 1500, for a new oem top installed. Prices seem to change by the week with honda lately. I used to be able to get a new shortblock assy for 1900, it's up to 2800.

$1500? for the top and installed?? cause don't soft tops go for around $600?? if so then that's $900 for installation

tops in the marketpalce seem to be anywhere from 650 on a good day to as high as 900. those are also new prices. buying anything from teh stealership is where you get raped. the best route (since you are out of warranty) is the robbins and have billman do it, as cornelius already mentioned.

What are you charging for the robbins or similar soft top install?
