S2000 Car Corral at Lime Rock ALMS Race?
 

I know there are ALMS fans among us (IMO it's more exciting than F1 with a greater variety of mfr's and cars). Of those fans, there's a group who usually make the drive up to Lime Rock for the Northeast Grand Prix. So just for the heck of it, I got in touch with the staff at Lime Rock to see what it would take to have an S2000 car corral this year. Ideally we'd need 25 cars to have our own corral. While that seems unlikely I figured I'd throw it out there to see what kind of interest there is before I pursue it any further. :thumbup:

The ticket cost would be $65 for the driver (+1's need their own ticket as always) which is nearly identical to the regular price. There may be a parade lap but the ALMS weekend is the biggest of the year at Lime Rock so that part of it may not happen.

I'll be at the NJ Motorsports Park race on July 17th. I'd love to make it to Lime Rock as well but that would be a stretch.

No worries! I was a noob last year (although I've followed ALMS for 3-4 years).
