I agree with you. I also feel lucky to own this piece of Honda history. But I have to admit- I am so tempted to sell it and buy a BMW M2. I feel like I need to own that piece of BMW history before their cars head down the same, sad direction.
Someone please convince me to keep my Honda!!

On 2nd thought- I think I'll keep my s2000 and pick up a 2017 M2 in 2020....when it can be purchased for somewhere in the mid/low 20's.

Its funny u mention the M2 cuz i've considered it. A few years ago I rented a 235i and loved it! Car was quick, nimble, felt connected to the road and had cool features. BMW brought back a lot of what the 2002 was with the 2 series. IF the 235i was fun the M2 must on another level and judging from reviews it is BUT there's not really a substitute for the s2000.

Eh I say keep the S2000, my buddy has an M2 and it’s a nice car but newer BMWs scare me with the maintenance/ reliability. My old e46 daily beater has been a lesson learned. To each their own though.
