Who within metro nyc is competent and knowledgeable enough to install my soft top?

Agreed. Jeremy (2poor2mod) installed my top. I'm actually having issues with my top (making flapping noises above 65mph, likely due to quality of materials) and Jeremy offered to take a look at it for me. Top install is one thing, but willing to help you out when you have issues takes it to a whole new level.
