Default SR2000

i put an sr20det in my s2000, its almost done. if i post a build thread are you just going to hate?...

Here is a rough idea of where i am at. when its done ill post a build thread thats legit.

this is where i am at now...

wiring this weekend...ughhhh

exhaust and turbo are on the opposite side creating quite an issue with brakes.

Cut sub frame and powersteering off pulley to fit engine and rack

waste gate dump and teins

sr

3" exhuast ran down the wrong side lol

s&w rollbar

i have the intercooler and radiator all set up for V mount... i had to take it apart to have -16 fittings welded to a mishimoto rad. running AN was expensive but alot easier then figureing out what kinda hose i needed to find...

ill have more pics as it comes back together.

thats what it looks like now and it runs

Dude that's awesome. More people should consider this swap as an alternative to F series motors.

Post it up only if you're including build pics.
Thought about doing this with my NFR shell but might be going with a certain Nissan inline-6 setup.

VQ35DE Swap with a GT35RS is what I would love to see in the bay of the S2000. Although im thinking it may be a little shallow in the bay to take on such a feat but not impossible.

I'm finishing up a custom turbo manifold for my buddy who did a sr swap in a E30 M3... Maybe I should have made a fixture I bet it would fit in an s2000 too. Lets see some photos!

I hope you are putting in a blacktop from S14 or S15.
I had an S13 and let me tell you, those SR20DET are garbage, complete crap. They fall apart like nothing, and don't get me started on their useless heads and rocker arm problems. If the motor and head are not built its a waste. Sorry for expressing myself, I went through 2 motors and I can't stand SR20DET's
