The Police need to set up a S2000 "bait car". Does anyone remember that TV show? The police would set up a real car, remote controlled for people to steal and then locked them in the car.

Stripped of all valuable parts! It's pretty risky to move an entire car when you need to register it.

Now some kids who want parts to mod their high mileage AP1 will turn their cheek because the prices are too good, and the vicious cycle continues.

Theft deterrents don't work as long as the root of the problem; in this case a market for stolen S2000 parts, exist.

Sorry that you had to go through this. I've had two cars stolen, 91 Si, with some valuable parts stripped and a 01' GSR which was found totally stripped and set on fire.
