Sad. Unless it was just dumped here it's another one parked on the street with ample time to strip for parts including the engine!

(But the area seems bereft on lockable garages.)

I believe the story behind this one is that it was stolen from the owner in Staten Island about 6 months ago and this is how it was just found dumped in Brooklyn.

GPS Tracker is the best way to find your car. They have gotten so much better in the last ten years. Stronger, more accurate signal. You can get a new update every 10 sec. and the battery can last up to two weeks. I have GPS on one of my bikes and two of my cars. Just because you can't park in a garage all the time when your on a vacation.

Just like I dress for a "fall" on my bike, I spend some money now if or when someone takes my ride so I might be able to get it back in one piece.
