It's a statistic guys doesn't mean seats its literally they look at how many cars stolen / total cars then use the same ratio to give you a per/1000 ratio.

And to answer who wants to steal a galant? Shady parts companies that's who. I didn't look at the list but I remember that a year or two ago the Camry or corolla was number 1 stolen, why? Cause it's a super popular car that 1) people get into a lot of accidents with 2) just need parts for routine maintainence. There are a lot of shady mechanics/ parts suppliers around and do you really think the soccer moms are questioning why their new ac condensor isn't pristine? Lol do they even know what sn ac condensor is??? No!

I grew up in the NJ/NYC area and just moved down to Dallas Texas. I just picked up a used S AP1 with 65,000 miles for $8k with clean title. I heard that 2 were stolen from one of the neighboring town last month. Now with that said I always check craigslist for used aftermarket parts. But never drive my car nor do I do let them know where I live. I always try and confirm if they are actively posting on any S2k sites and why they are selling the parts. I've picked up used HKS exhaust dual exhaust and Eibach 1" drop springs so far.

Although before I got the S I was looking at civics but couldnt believe what they were asking for with stolen titles. I'm glad I kept searching and got a deal on my AP1. I'll post pics once I get back to Dallas and pick up my car from the shop. Getting some parts put on.. =)
