no offense, i would love a closer track, but that doesn't seem to be a very organized effort that would lead anywhere. BTW, it's been done a million times already. Did we forget all the protests and petitiions to save the track that was there? Those didn't go anywhere.

I with Jeff on this subject. Although I don't have a desire to run my car in the 1/4

But I would even go just to Hang out check out the cars and watch some runs. Think about it wouldn't it be cool to have a place to go where it was legal and the cops couldn't bust your balls. I'm thinking I wouldn't be alone I sure a bunch of the NYC guys would show
Even if it was just to hang. Because 9 times out of 10 thats all we are looking to do is just cruise around or go and hang some where. My question is maybe at This point and time you can't make any money doing it. Property is so expensive And the taxes . I wonder if you just can't afford to these days. I mean I can't even imagine what the insurance would be for something like that. But anyway It would be great although I don't think the S2K is a 1/4 mile car I would go. When I was younger I used to go to Island Drag way right off 46 in Great Meadows. It was great my friends and I would hang out all night check out
all the cars do as many runs as you want to and the best part it was all legal. It was a great time they had open track on Wed and Sat . It was great.
