Default test pipe install

sup metro I'm going to install a test pipe in a few minutes. I was looking at the DIY section of the forum and found step-by-step instructins on how to install it. My question to you guys is that it says when putting the TP in tighten both stock bolts and spring bolts with a wrench to 35lbs? i dont have a torque wrench. Is this crucial? or can i just tighten the thing nice and snug like? Let me know Metro.

no. just put it on. the spring bolts will fight you when they are tight enough.

make sure to spray the o2 sensor with wd40 before going at it.

an exhaust is just a glorified metal straw. you will be fine

Don't go too crazy on the WD40 on the O2 sensor. I've heard that WD40 actually harms the O2 sensor. The only thing you really need to worry about is rusted bolt.... and paying to become a member.
