who on long island is good at tuning these. please if possible include the shop they work at. thanks.

I'm currently getting my EMS tuned at DRT in Queens. We haven't finished up the car yet, but the tuner there, Ralphie, seems to know his stuff.

Yeah, Ralphie specializes in EMS but he is also backwards compatible and can work with VAFC
