Someone with a Honda tool, or a LAUNCH X431 tool
Lights will come on if the SRS reel is removed and car is started.

I found this thread on a search because I'm having a similar problem. Will the Equus E203100 work too?

only way your going to get it turned off is to find someone with access to these. I.E. Dealer or bigger Honda repair shop as neither is cheap

i.e. is it the same circuit as the seat belt resistor?

If the scanner is under $1000, you can safely assume it will not work. It cannot be reset, it (VSA) needs to be "written clear".
Keep in mind you are wasting your time if there is still an underlying problem.
Let me know if you need it done I have the tool of course (launch)
SRS light can be reset with a paper clip.

VSA , ABS and triangle light when started after winter storage
The VSA, ABS and triangle lights stayed on after starting car after Winter storage. I had a bunch of papers on drive side fender well indicating I had tenants over the Winter. Did not see anything chewed up or nawed on? When I parked it in the Fall, everything was OK? Any ideas for diagnosing / clearing lights. Also, does that mean my VSA and ABS are non functioning? What does the triangle light indicate? Safe to drive? ( it seems to run/drive ok?)

-ABS light: there is a fault code in the abs, scan it (abs is currently inoperable)
-VSA light: on by abs default (vsa is currently disabled)
-triangle light: on by vsa default (traction control is disabled)
Let me save you all a lot of headaches, do not let the car sit for long periods with the battery connected. If it goes dead, it will set codes and can even damage certain electrical components of the car.
Disconnect the battery during winter storage, or use a tender.

i have the same problem 2006 ap2 ABS,EPS and CHECK ENGINE lights ALL OFF
ONLY VSA and triangle ON
tooked to the dealer and scanner said code 81-1: ECU failure: hardware failure
*replaced ABS complete unit with modulator pump and frame
*bleeded the system
*tried to reset the ABS and VSA with this:
1) With the ignition switch OFF, pins 4 and 9
2) Press the brake pedal and HOLD.
3) Turn the ignition switch ON (position II) while continuing to hold the brake pedal.
4) After the ABS indicator goes off, release the brake pedal.
5) After the ABS indicator comes back on, press the brake pedal again.
6) After the ABS indicator goes off again, release the brake pedal.
VSA neutral position procedure:
Do not touch the brake pedal anymore.
1) Keep Pins 4 and 9 jumped.
2) Switch the ignition key to position II (on) again, but don't start the engine. Then after the ABS light turns off, quickly press the "VSA off" button.
3) After ABS light turns on again, quickly press the "VSA off" button again.
i dont have any other codes for ABS or VSA
i do have codes 92-20..71-10 and 81-61 From SRS but they told me it has nothing to do with VSA
please help this thing its getting me crazy
