I've been with Allstate since I started driving many many moons ago (25 years). I've had maybe 5 claims with them total. There's nothing for me to complain about really.... except that they keep taking my money month after month, year after year.

My advise if your premium goes up, move to PA. It's cheaper here!!!

As a long-term client in good standing there should be some level of advocacy on the customer's behalf. Instead you're guilty until proven innocent and in the meantime they're taking your time and holding your personal property, both of which have inherent value. It's absolutely disgusting.

Jackie suggested having the event host (ACNA) vouch for the fact that there was no on-track incident. I'm sure Scott or Michele Lynn would be happy to.

Sorry this happened to you but most insurance companies are great at raising your premium and taking your money but when it comes to paying out they are usually a nightmare. I work with all insurance companies daily since I sell cars for a living and by far USAA and Geico are the most pleasant to deal with. My car got smashed last december. I went through my insurance which is Geico immediately so I can have my car repaired quick. I paid my deductible and within 10 days Geico sent me a check for my reimbursement since they collected it from the other person involved. I never ever called Geico besides to file the initial claim cause they were constantly calling me with the updates on my claim and total repairs to my car. Based on my experience I'm staying with Geico for sure.

1) Who has the car now? Do you still own it or has the title been transferred to insurance company?

2) Have you received a loss/damage estimate? If not, how hard would it be for you to get a real estimate from a body shop or an independent appraiser?

3) Do you have comprehensive coverage on the car?

4) Go out and get pictures of the damage so you have them. Get your own pictures of accident location if possible.

5) They are not going to pay the claim. They are trying to find any reason to avoid doing so. My suggestion is that you get the damage estimate and get the car repaired. Have your lawyer send them a letter stating that they have had a month to investigate the claim and assess property damage. That if those issues are not resolved immediately, you will make your own arrangements to determine damages and arrange to fix the car. Then a complaint to State Insurance Commissioner (not worth much) and a lawsuit. You may be able to claim additional monetary damages for bad faith claim settlement techniques. Lawyer should throw than in the letter.

Good luck.

^^^
That looks like solid advice.

Get your car back and tell Esurance to go shit in a hat.

They've had almost 2 months now to settle with you and get your car fixed.

That sucks Paul. I would recommend Liberty Mutual. They've been great however I haven't had any claims with them.
So they are good at cashing your checks and sending cards out?
Well considering that I had 3 cars full coverage including my GTR with low deductibles for $100 per month, I would say they are great.

This is despicable! I hope you can work this out quickly! There is a lot of good advice on this thread and unfortunately, it seems the onus is on you to make it right. Better call Saul.
