yes...

AAA was able to produce a receipt on their end but it is not the one by towing truck. I didn't pay a single dime for towing because AAA covered 90 miles. - I upgraded my membership 1 or 2 years ago.

I told my lawyer to tell them if they cannot accept it, they will have to allow me to search it in my car where it's in their impound.

Reading that post reminded me that in addition to all the ridiculousness you're being treated as a criminal when you did nothing wrong.

It's your property and they have NO claim to it whatsoever so if you know where it is, can you just go and look on your own? The condition of the car is documented.

Does the AAA receipt name the towing company?

Paul the office in my town is some kind of a processing center. They just won best places to work in NJ and plan on hiring 30% more people for claim processing.... you can always knock on the door I suppose...

I'm sure his lawyer (now that he has one) is advising him.

I was going to say, maybe not very well. If this lawyer was on his game there's enough proof in Paul's favor versus NONE in esurance's favor that this would've been closed long ago if he was pushing. Because of that I don't think esurance can close the claim because they open themselves up to a suit which they would unquestionably lose because they have NOTHING other than suspicion. They've probably opened themselves to a suit already, before the claim is resolved, by violating some NJ consumer protections enumerated on the NJ insurance consumer bill of rights.

Every time this thread comes up to the top I keep opening up it hoping that by now Paul would be getting his car back.
