...He convinced me to get an after market glass so I did and it cost me $325 installed which is about half of the oem window including installation. The glass and installation were perfect but I immediately realized my rear view mirror was slightly higher than before and it was hitting the map lights when I put it in my position. Im 6ft tall so have the mirror angled kind of high which wasnt a problem before with the oem glass but with the after market it became a nuisance since it hit the roof liner and vibrated due to that as well...
I have the same problem. I wish I new that the PPG replacement windshield was like this when I got mine replaced two years ago.

you can move your rear view mirror its only glued to the glass...

Yes I'm aware of that. The glass installer attempted to remove the glue and residue from the windshield in order to move the bracket but all he did was scratch it so I got a refund for everything and just got the oem with no issue

OK. So after working on this for a bit, the best I could do is $656 out the door per car. All done. HOWEVER. Availability is going to be a problem for y'all. Regional warehouse shows ONE windshield. After that it'll go to national backorder. And from there, who knows.

Parts dept has to call 1-866-627-5911, and put in a request for additional glass, and/or create a CBO Critical BackOrder case. it will be slow, but it will happen. Cant believe i still remember that phone#.

when youre ready for a parts manager, let me know
