3/10 The 2018 Season Opening Meet at Druthers in Albany
UPDATE 3/8: Reservation made for 14. I asked for a table close to the bar.
If any of you gets there first, let them know you have a reservation for 'Ash' - party of 14. Address for DRUTHERS ALBANY is 1053 BROADWAY ALBANY, NY 12204 March will be here soon and it is time to arise, awake and get ready for the new season. In order to welcome the new season, let us meet at Druthers in Albany on March 10th. Lets plan on getting there at 11:30 when it opens and spend time catching up with each other. Inform your plus ones and ask them to tag along as well - the more the merrier as we kickoff the season. Semir, who is now 'the shirt' is requested to show up wearing the shirt. So being that I am the shirt now.. I will have to kindly request that the time slot be moved up to after 2? Now that I have my own shop in ballston spa ( shop plug) all tech automotive, I am working untill 1 and all s2ki members are all welcome and shall receive the shirt discount! |
If it's not unfavorable to anyone else I would also like to move the time to 2pm, to accommodate "the shirt" |
Semir - plan on being there once you shut your shop. We’re usually there past 3 to about 4ish. Looking forward to seeing you. Congrats on the new shop. Do you do alignments too? |

Yes I do do alignments I have the hunter Hawkeye laser alignment machine, maybe we can do a get together where at the shop this summer too |

I'm coming, but the time change makes it difficult as I need to be back in Connecticut rather early. Not sure about Nancy. Doubt it. :)

It was great seeing everyone that came. Thanks to all for showing up especially blueosprey90, bugsy, foulone, Bradthemachine for driving 2 hours or more to get here. It was great to see the new parents - Corey and Jake, as well as Lisa and Greg, Jeremy, Joe, Alex, Semir (who made sure he wore the shirt), Andrew, and Keith.
We had a great three hours together and I had such a good time as I hope everyone else did. I wish more people had made it. Druthers reserved their community table for us which was a nice tall table that we could stand around. I figured that would be better as it would help people to move about and catch up with everyone. One of the better off season meets we’ve had (brewery and a dd helps lol, thanks Joe). Hopefully it is a good sign for meets to come this year. Great turnout, and it was especially great to see some guys from further away make the trip. |
The meet was fun. I had a blast. Roads were littered with potholes but that’s Albany. Great to see everyone again too. Cmon Spring!! |
