Ref: bog. I was there the year ('76, I think -- James Hunt won) that a Tour Bus (with Japanese, I think) was trashed and burnt! If memory serves me right... they really cracked down after that year.

tea-man - Wow, I did not know this about the Bog! I'll have to see what good stories I can pull from some of my other friends.

dlq04 - I can't imagine hitting a deer with the MGA!

Testut - the older I get the more I think about hitting a deer on the motorcycle and that is not a pleasant thought. I can really appreciate your concern based upon the roads you would have been traveling on. And it is only going to get worse because the warm weather this fall was not very conducive to deer hunting and most of the people I have spoken to did not get anything this year.

One of the damnable things about growing older is being aware of consequences. Then again, I was pretty much the same when I was younger. In fact, one of my younger friends tells me I didn't grow older, I grew sorrier." Hmmmmm... wonder what he meant by that

Perhaps a brush bar on your motorcycle????

I remember the BOG....and the buring cars......My mother used to work on the medical team at the GP's....I was to young to participate and had to "stay clear" of the BOG...but did get to meet alot of drivers.
I saw a show on Speedvision talking about the History of GP racing and the BOG was mentioned (as well as other issues) as one of the reasons the race was moved out of the Glenn.
Very Little snow in Endicott.
Glad to hear every thing is still Moving up in Buffalo!!!!!!
