I am beginning to pack....car is done except for a wash and wax. Jake changed all the fluids and drained the gas tank for me, now all thats left is some stickers to put on her and off to the races.

Practice begins on Thursday and run through Sunday.

Did you get your first SCCA Sports Car racer book ?

^ be sure to have all the sponsor stickers on. You don't wanna leave that contingency money on the table.

If you need any help packing, I can make myself available after work. Good luck and I hope you guys have a nice safe drive there and back.

First qualifier is in the books, still have a lot of work to do so we can shave some time off my laps. I will finally be running a SOLO race timer tomorrow (compliments of Eric Henrich who qualified first in class).

So he is willing help me climb to the top of the leader board if I can interpret the data. We go out at 2:40 tomorrow and it will be HOT so lap times will fade.

Paul and I spent 2.5 hrs at impound in 90 degree heat waiting for someone to tear down their car to check the size of a turbo.....very painful !!

Race hard, but stay safe.

On the Aim Solo, don't get bogged down in the data. You need the program on your computer and it's too much to master on the fly during a racing event.

Maybe try running it in the "predictive" mode, but you will need a visible place on the dash to mount it.

Here is a nice article from Racer on what it takes to qualify for the Runoffs.

All the drivers there are among the best of the best in the country.

Greg doing very well and taking steps in the right direction to get better.
Scca running a different track configuration than Rolex/bikes.
As far as aim solo he's going to get some data and a faster guy is going to try and help him find some time. Greg isn't going to have to learn the software.
Big event and some big $ around trying to win a plastic trophy!
Great accomplishment for Greg to get this far so fast!
