Greg, this is so sad! You had so much work into that car and though it isn’t ‘gone’ now, it sort of is. Lessons learned, and taught to others i’m Sure, but it is still a shame. I hope it wasn’t any kind of dumb luck or stupid error on anyone’s part that caused this. And i’m Sorry we never got to race together at VIR or Summit Point. Maybe one day in the future when you’ve got another steed to flog around the track.
What are you going to do with the car now?

Damn this seriously is heart breaking. Most importantly, you are okay Greg which is what matters. As much as we hate to see any s2k, especially one of our own's in this condition, your well being takes importance.
Greg, I want to second what Shiv wrote. I am happy that you are uninjured, but this sure is heartbreaking.
I hope that you can eventually tell us what went wrong so that the rest of us can learn from your (sad) experience.

So with Jake's help, we have secured a beautiful S2000 roller, has everything minus engine, tranny and bumpers.
Should be a very easy swap once the cage is welded in.
I have winterized the #59 and it will wait for spring before we get going full speed on the rebuild.
Once again, I can't thank Jake and Semir for their persistence in finding a new platform to re-build the #59.
Happy Thanksgiving

Fantastic news on Thanksgiving eve Greg. I’m so happy that you guys will be putting the car back together again. I’m looking forward to the build updates and will be rooting for you to get back on track.

Since its the off season I have taken a few moments to review some pictures from this summer.
In these two pictures we have two distinct styles of BABY Restraints and both have their advantages.
First we have the one handed approached, one hand firmly restrains the baby and the other hand is free to hold a beer, eat a sandwich, talk on the phone and also to just plain show off your cool shirt.
Rockin the "Fun One" Tee Shirt while doing the One Handed Baby Hold.
Second we had the frontal baby sling, it restrains the baby firmly using Stroth style belts and a reverse HANS. This style leaves both hands free to hold two beers, one beer and one sandwich, one beer and talk on the phone or even both hands free to work on a car !!
The NO Handed baby sling - Levi is hangin out and just taking it all in.

Greg - you could make a great wildlife photographer having captured both those New York cubs in their natural habitat
JJ is adept at baby wearing. I’ve tried it a few times but have never felt comfortable so avoid wearing it preferring to perform tasks single handed.
