So I get this email...
I am inquiring if I can participate in this event next year in a 2 seater, custom roadster pickup or 2 seater convertible Isuzu Amigo? I had to sell my cars because of the economy. I could bring my amigo which is a 2 seater convertible or my Toyota roadster pickup. Both are custom built creations that I have spent a lot of time working on. They are built to drive not just show.

I tried to be as polite as possible and replied with this
Thanks for the email, but I'm sorry, at this point in time I would rather not open up registration to pickups or SUV's. I'm afraid I just can't do the utility type vehicle, I get enough grief from my participants for allowing big America 4-seat convertibles I'm afraid they might run me out of town for a drop top truck or SUV.

I remember the Isuzu Amigo. Quirky lil Wrangler-like alternative. I liked the look of 'em.

...but totally not a "sporting roadster" by any stretch of the imagination.

2 counts of sportscar FAIL in that request. It would only take one oddball for you to start getting request from guys with CJ-7's.
