Aerodrome outing & drive
OK folks, as we discussed briefly at the meet last month I'm working to put together an outing and drive to the Olde Rhinebeck Aerodrome in June. For those unfamiliar with the Aerodrome- it is a true gem in our area. Sporting the largest collection of EARLY aircraft in the world- both flying and under restoration it does not disappoint. They stage air shows with mock WW1 dogfights on the weekends as well. I will couple this with a drive and a venue for a late lunch too. I'm thinking a Saturday in early June to avoid wedding and graduation conflicts.I'd like to do the 8th of June with a possible raindate of the 15th. Please post with interest.

Tentatively in. Don't have anything planned until Watkins Glen in July other than some maintenance work I plan to do this year.

May consider this. It would be a haul from Brockport, but I've always wanted to check out Rhinebeck.

Right in our backyard!

I would do this, but my grandson is being Baptised on the 9th. If it should rain, I would make the rain date. I have been looking for an excuse to visit the aerodrome. Everyone that goes should wear a scarf and goggles while driving their S.
