Did Lance Stroll lift before the checkered? To me it seemed like he did

Either he lifted, or something on Stroll's car gave out just at the end. Bottas blew by him with quite the speed differential.

Either way, great showing by Stroll. Heck, by Bottas too, because at one point he was all the way at the back.

I like this track, some great passing opportunities.

Yeah ..... that was a strange finish for Stroll. I thought at the time something might have happened to his car but he didn't say anything [ at least that I heard] after the race that indicated that something had.

I wouldn't miss this race if they dropped it.

Its extremely narrow. And if a car stops they don't have enough cranes to remove it. The track is narrow with no runoff so debris can't be swept aside. Cars have to drive behind a safety car through pit lane as there isn't room on track for both marshals and traffic.

Now that Bernie is out maybe they'll let this race die of natural causes.

Thought I heard that telemetry on Strolls car showed he DID NOT lift.

Just excellent racecraft by Bottas?

ESPN UK F1 site ( one I frequent, better than official F1 site IMHO) quotes LH as saying " we all know how Vettel can be"

LH may be turning into a bit of a diva but in addition to his talent and focus he realizes that the WDC is an all fronts war with the competition including the psychological front,

He was in Nicos' head for years and is now taking more space in Vettels',
