Was Monza the best GP so far of 2018? The huge speeds, slipstreaming, and intense strategy battle between Ferrari and Mercedes had my full attention every lap. Why was the Ferrari the only car on the grid that couldn't make the soft tires work? Both Kimi and Vettel were blistering all over the place. Would have been great to see the Scuderia take P1 in Italy but the race was so good I can't really complain. Lewis now has a nice point lead going into Singapore.
I think the race Vmax was 225 mph from Sainz! Those are Indy speeds.

Gotta admit Lewis is the man.
Only had the ESPN mobile feed but it appears a combo of Toto and company cleverness and LH ability to get 8 extra laps out of his tires was the deciding factor
sadly, the season may be over

It was Singapore snooze for me. Other than Max troubling him a bit, no one even looked close to giving him a serious fight.
I think Vettel has lost it at this point. He needs to win all the remaining races and needs Lewis to have some bad luck.
Indycar otoh was awesome. Dixon won his 5th and Rossi put in a valiant drive worthy of being champion. I’m sure his time will come.

Singapore is one of my least favorite tracks, as there is little chance for overtaking. I watched qualifying, and remarked to Sarah (who knows little about F1) that qualifying was more important than the actual race. Sure enough, the top six finished exactly where they started on the grid.
And yes, Ferrari's strategy was quite the head scratcher for me as well.

it that race over yet? So boring. I've been watching formula 1 for 30 years now and I honestly can't remember it ever being good. The last time I remember actually getting pumped up for F1 was during the Senna vs Prost era (Prost was my all-time favorite driver)
