Here is an interesting page on Brembo's braking calculations for Bahrain. Quite a lot of detail here. 5G's braking force!

I imagine (if I managed to fit into an F1 car) I would not last even a full lap before I got the wind knocked out of my lungs.
They have a three seater that I have seen them giving rides in. Driver center two passengers flanking him. I believe it is based on an old Jordan F1 car. I would pay big $ for a ride but don't think I have what it takes to actually drive one! Hamster on Top Gear had an awful time with the one they let him try.

Saw Ralf Schumachers' old car at a tire store a few years ago, was amazed at how small and toy like it looked.

I could get in it, getting out might not be possible.

Having watched numerous live races and having done some track time myself, I can attest to the fact its' a lot faster inside the car.

My wife took a vid of me at the Glen coming up though the esses, foot to the floor and hands full and it LOOKS LIKE I'M LOOKING FOR A PARKING SPACE!

So if a car looks fast from the stands it's gotta be unbelievable from the cockpit.

Never seen a race so exciting after one so boring. Bahrain was 100x better than Malaysia, though would have prefered Rosberg over Hami if Mercedes is going to dominate.

^^^
I agree, that race was fantastic through the whole field. Not a big fan of full course yellow but see it was needed there and the last 10 laps were really exciting because of it! Lewis maybe a little like Seb was last year there. Nico seemed a little pissed on the podium.

Nico's body language was a dead giveaway. Gotta be some late race " team orders"

He had the tire advantage in the last laps and should have overtaken LH.

In addition to the racing the team, 'soap operas" are going to be everywhere - Alonso/Kimi, Massa/Bottass, Rosberg/Hamilton and best off all Vettel/Ricardo.

Not sure about the others, but the Scuderia has switched from the Ace with a solid number 2 strategy to pitting two great drivers against each other to get the most out them.

Red Bull obviously has the Ace/#2 now, but if Riccardo keeps improving we'll have controversy before the end of the season.

Very interesting all around.

Yep, sports car racing is always exciting. I prefer it to F1. White Gallardo that took the GT class was flying. This Sunday is Long Beach GP but isn't being televised on NBCSN until 4/20 5:30 PM.

I'll be watching.

Anyone know of a place online where you can watch the first two races?

My stepson deleted them off the DVR so now I need to try and watch them on my iPad
