Chris was 3rd in class and 4th on Pax. He was struggling a little with the lower AP2 rev limit.
I was lazy and didn't get the camera out. Wish I had. My best run was great. I think Chris took some video.

Nick Austin did great in his AP1. They bumped him out of stock for the AP2 wheels, but he managed top 10 Pax with the STR index. Impressive for his second year of autocross.

Fun day yesterday! Chris and I picked up where we left off last season, 0.073 apart! First 11 drivers within 1 second after combining best morning and afternoon times.

I was killing it on raw time yesterday, but it was a very challenging course with inconsistent slaloms. Only had one clean run that put me 4th out of 50, 0.002 behind Chris! Finished 0.255 behind Chris Morton in 1st. A good day for S2000s as we took 3 of the 4 top times!

Great day on a great course at McCarty Ave.
My friend, Jon K, who is sales manager at Audi of Albany started designing courses this season and till date has done excellent work designing challenging yet fast courses on the tiny lot we have. For instance yesterday I was coming out of the finish at 54 MPH.
Overall I placed mid-pack as I usually do in PAX but this time I was about half a second off of Sean's time and about a second off of Phil R's time. Testament to the design where the tires you ran didn't make as much of a difference given that I was on RS3s that are nearing end of life.
We have another event on October 1st and I asked Jon to ensure his next design is much like the one today where everyone has a fighting chance.
