It wasn’t too bad Mark. Our new course designer is doing a great job with the tiny state lot we have access to. We call it the ‘bull ring’ because like Lime Rock Park it’s small and usually fast. Everyone, even the PSCC guys that have been coming, have been very appreciative of the courses.

Mark - do you know what happened? Jim Garry shared this from the FLR SCCA

Based on reports from SCCA volunteers and Xerox, several attendees at yesterday's event engaged in antisocial vehicular behavior while leaving the event.

Those who have been identified have been banned from our Autocross events for life.

We have tenuous relationships with our sites, and they can decide to terminate our relationship at any time. This type of behavior puts everyone at risk and will not be tolerated.

Xerox security came up as we were loading the equipment truck and said they had complaints from neighbors about aggressive/fast driving by a few cars on the main road in front of Xerox. They knew it was from our event as they still had numbers on the cars. We had a high number of novices yesterday and I suspect it may have been some 1st timers. It is usually stated at the driver's meeting to treat the neighbors and site owner's kindly and to remove numbers before hitting the public roads. I guess these guys didn't get the message.

I think the "ban for life" is harsh, especially if they are first timers. I think they should be spoken to and made to understand how this impacts the club, and maybe put on probation for a season. Banned on a second offense.

Banned for life is super harsh on a first offense.
I agree, being pulled aside and having the situation explained would be the right call.
It can be hard enough to attract new/younger participants, kicking them out with no chance to redeem themselves is bad for all

Will Schambach shared that on our FB group. He seems to be contemplating coming out of his sabbatical

I’ll try to make it. Beats going to Devens IMO and I want to experience a large event.
