I'm curious. Did Jeff take his "new" car out today???? I managed to get mine out of my incredibly steep driveway with hardly a spin, despite last night's freezing rain and snow. It was a pleasant surprise to see the S2000 pull itself up the long hill. FWIW, I had already made arrangements to borrow my neighbor's Buick just in case. I know, I know, "Ye of little faith."

Nah, I wussed out. Turns out I could have come home at lunch and gotten it but I wasn't sure about the lake snow bands. Hindsight is 20-20...

Actually, my full repair was $3154. Her insurance company is Met Life and will be charged all but 10% (I'm still thinking about protesting that). State Farm fronted the money while the final determination was being set. If I understand it right, I'll get back $225 of my $250 deductible (10% of $250 being held back for my "fault").
AT least the car's back and looks as good as new...

Now another question. Based upon what you know now, would you suggest to somebody that they go to Dorschel for body repair and painting in the future, especially if they have a Spa?

Why? You planning an early excursion?
I don't see anything that would keep me from using Dorschel again (God forbid!). I certainly am disappointed that it took 2 tries to match the paint (don't try to pass it off as "good enough" - if it doesn't match, it doesn't match and let me know that it has to be redone before I show up to pick it up).
The flip side is that they now have experience with the color and have demonstrated that they CAN match it perfectly (as far as I can tell so far - I need a clean car and dry weather). So, overall, I'd give 'em a thumbs-up!
