Comptech or Vortech!?
 

Hi guys! I Need help on deciding which supercharger i should get. I figured i should ask some S2k members before i purchase. I know that vortech produces about 5 more whp but doesn't look as clean as the Comptech setup does! So i was wondering if anyone currently owns either setup or if they know another member who owns one because rite now im not shure which application i should get!

Dave's S2k is nice and clean. But both superchargers are worth the money.

However I believe the Vortech unit utilizes an aftercooler which provides some extra power from lowered intake temps.

You can get a Comptech setup with an aftercooler as well - so I don't think that would be an issue between the two. As far as a cleaner looking setup, I think the Comptech looks a little cleaner than the Vortech. However, Comptech is no longer around as far as I know and it may be difficult to get questions answered should you have difficulty during the install. I also understand that the Comptech is a bit easier to install than the Vortech.

I'm really debating dropping the money on a supercharger myself. Were I to do it, I'd likely go with the Comptech setup.

I just have the internal debate raging - do I get a supercharger, or a bike? :)
