Jeff or Paul - What is the liability at Skip Barber for a damaged car? Do they have insurance available and how much does that cost and does it have a deductible?

At my classes it was $500 for the event. There still was a pretty high deductible, I believe $2500. I never once, in either class, felt like I came anywhere close to needing it. That being said bought it both times. We did have 3 people in my LS racing school that did use it. If I were doing racing school would opt in again, but for the high performance driving schools I think I would skip it.

PS you can just register for your space now and decide to pick it up at the first day of school to spread the costs out.

Aashish, it's very confusing. If you don't buy the insaurance, your liability is $6,000 per incident. So you can have more than one incident. If you do buy it, I think it is $3,000 per incident, but perhaps $3,000 per weekend.

Based on my experiences today, it might be worth buying. But you can do it the day of the event.

Hopefully you just saw some others using it or wishing they had it and it wasn't out of need that you say that.

Criminies, Some of you signed up and used me as a referral so I got a credit to my account! Thank you so very much. And here I thought I was going to retire from the Skip Barber Program now that I completed the Two Day Advanced School.

I am told that the 30% discount has been extended until Friday due the the storm.
