Default Elda bar is a no go....

At least for a few months I'm guessing.

An update:

Elda has told us that they've only just received the CAD drawings from
their contractor and that they're now inclined not to make the bars
since Wael doesn't have the time to devote to the project. All is not
bad however, as we're (Go Fast Lab) negotiating to buy the drawings
and all rights to the bars in order to have them manufactured in our
shop on the West Coast.

What this means though, is that there will be some indeterminable
delay before we will have the bars ready to ship. We're awaiting the
receipt of the drawings so that we can have our shop estimate
manufacturing and tooling etc.

I'm about to send this very same information out in an email to all
the customers that have ordered one of these bars as well.

If you'd like us to refund your $$ then we'd be happy to do so; if
you'd like to keep your order in and wait then we can do that as well.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear, and to be frank it's not
what I wanted to have to tell you either, but that's where we are.
Rylan and I are committed to our investment in the project and will
make it happen, but we're now obviously starting from way back when we
expected to be shipping product already.

For those customers who have pending orders for this piece with us,
you can send me an email to support @ gofastlab.com and let me know
your intentions. I will of course be sending each of you an email as
well.

J.P.

Guess I can put my interior back in.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and leave my order open with JP. They won't charge until the bar ships and a local fabricator probably wouldn't be any quicker.
