Default Good Car cover

Looking for a good car cover, but I don't want to spend a fortune for it.. The oem one looks good but I dont believe it is designed to be used in inclement weather. My needs are for a cover to protect it in the summer when parked outside and to be as a dust cover when stored inside for the winter months. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a car cover?

I have the covercraft weathertech HP. I put it on the car whenever I'm not driving it, as long as the car is clean.

Keeps everything off the car, is very lightweight, and stood up to last year's October snowstorm with heavy wet snow and branches on it as well as a tropical storm a couple years ago, cover stayed on the car even in high winds.

Good quality cover made of breathable material that won't harm your paint. I either wash the car, use my California duster on it and/or do a quick detail before putting it on.

I'm VERY particular about my S and am 100% happy with this cover. I just wash it once a year and it continues to perform great. Ask people in here who have seen my S, the car is outside during the driving season, I don't have a garage, and the paint looks nearly showroom new.

It is not a cheap cover, but you get what you pay for and if you want to protect your S, you can't be frugal.

Brian, I have a coverking from scienceofspeed. I got the indoor cover ( it came in colors so I got a blue one) as I keep my S in the garage.
The cover is light, and fits great. They also make a cover for outdoors, grey in color, and it is cheaper than the indoor cover.

Covercraft here too, have had several of them over the years and have always been very pleased with the fit

www.autoanything.com is a great place to buy from, huge selection and a great set of descriptions for the characteristics of each different fabric

I use Evolution 3 and 4 fabrics as mine are indoors, but I like the extra protection inside due to the super thick fabric
