Default Great Memories

Hi all, It's with mixed emotions that I have decided to part ways with my S. I just wanted to say that thanks in a large part to this site and it's members my enjoyment of the car was greatly increased. From our very first ride with the Upstate group Ruth and I had a blast. Thanks to Aashish we developed a taste for wine that we never had before after our stop at the Hudson winery years ago! I also think back to the great help Jake has been with his mod days. All in all a very nice group of people. I find these forums very informative on many things so I'll still be lurking! If you happen to run across anyone in your travels looking for an unmolested S you can PM me. That New Formula Red would sure look nice under someone's tree!

Some fortunate soul is going to get a very nice S. Are you planning on replacing it with another vehicle?

wow! Bob...As Jake said, I hope you reconsider selling the car. Even, if you do, you still have no reason to be a stranger here. The car brought us together but I hope all of can be friends and stay in touch even when the car is no longer around. I hope you still surprise me by stopping in at Lime Rock Park and I hope our paths keep crossing.

Hi Levi, yes I'm going to pick up something that I have wanted for some time now. I've always had a soft spot for the C6 Grand Sport convertible vettes. I never really used the S for what it does best... go around a track.

Hi Aashish, Yes I will still be in touch. I'll probably get over to LimeRock a little more in the coming years.

A friend of Aashish's is looking for an S2000 - at least as of September. I'll PM you with his email address.

You’ll be missed but it’s not all that bad after parting with the S2000. The best thing about the car are the friendships it’s helped create over the years.
God bless.
