Wink Happy Thanksgiving...

Have a nice Thanskgiving tomorrow everyone!

And now some reflections and appreciations from this past year...

I give thanks for having such wonderful friends on here, past and present.
...for a good year of driving, meeting new people and keeping safe.
...for all the things I've learned (about cars too) and will take in for the future (this site shares many stories, some good, some bad).
...for my wonderful fiancee' and what she has to go thru in all my car antics, hee hee...
...for the US military and their sacrifices, especially overseas, may God bless you all because Freedom isn't Free!!
...for Father God and his son Jesus Christ.
...and for those that have shared their experiences but are not with us anymore, albeit by leaving the S2k community or from passing away...they are an inspiration and I know are missed.

Thats my rant for this Holiday.
Love you guys and gals.

-Jeremy

Ah, thanks Jeremy Happy Thanksgiving everyone

I will miss the gang over the winter. It was a great year of meets and drives. I did 16 this year Plus 5 track days

Going to be hard to top that in 2009

Thanks to everyone I met this year because of my "S". Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday.

Jeremy, great picture. Good thing there was a yellow "S" to add some color to the photo Tell Mandy maybe next year our team will do better.

Ellen, welcome to NY and your new endeavors. Just one question. Is it all the Hondas you like at your new job or all the young mechanics?

Dave, thanks for keeping my waistline up with all your pastries, so I don't have to buy new clothes.

I'm thankful today I live too far away from Dave's restaurant to eat there regularly

Another fun meet we had early in the year

And yes I have a favorite mechanic - Ramone He's new to Hondas so I don't let him work on my cars yet Maybe other things though

Next year if he's still there I will start asking him to "help" me I NY

Oh and all the Hondas are nice too

It seems like yesterday when we had that Saratoga Museum meet back in April.
And now autumn is pretty much gone, and here comes winter!

Well, maybe we'll be fortunate enough for a nice Indian Summer perhaps. (or did we have that already too?)

I drove the S to CT and back today - almost 6 hours behind the wheel

We were dead stop on 84 for a short time and the temp hit 42. I took that as a sign that the top should be down

Drove the remaining 40 miles like that. Had a big grin on my face

Relatives thought I was nuts, except my dad who is a car guy

Food was good, relatives not too annoying - except for the children I may invite myself back next year

My folks and the 2 of us, well 3 including a friend of ours had dinner at a banquet house in the area then we hit the movies later to see 4 Christmasses.

Funny movie, especially with the newborn babies throwing up all over.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! What a great year of drives and get togethers! Took the S to work today- I suspect it may be the last good day without salt on the roads here. Really glad that things seem to be working out well for all of my friends in the S2000 community. Lets hope it turns out to be a mild winter despite the predictions.

Hope ya'll had a great holiday!

This was one of the earliest dates for storing this year, but I did it when I had to because the day I took the plates off is the day the salt truck drove down my road.
