'05 will be my third time out there, it is a blast.
I pack the truck with a lot of beer, two big coolers, plenty of extraordinary food, and my gas grill. I eat and drink like a king, rain or shine. This year I will drive out on Wednesday so I can be there for the Thursday morning pit lane walk. I do not drive home until Monday AM, I tried to leave one year on Sunday after the race and it was a complete waste of time, as in 2 hours to get out of a parking lot...
Doug,
If that trip is going to be with a new Titan, don't forget about $ for the gas. I'm sure that big V8 will be hungry.
will it be a Red one? I think they are offering some good incentives right now on Titans.
Enjoy I'd like to be going but I'll plan on the Indy at the Glen in Sept.

Bright red bud, bright red! The name is Red Alert from Nissan.
I expect the Titan to get about 16-17 on the highway. Now some may freak out at that, but I'm used to getting about 19 or 20 so it is no big deal, not when you consider I will be going from something like a twin bed size to a king bed size.
The nice thing though is with the 28 gallon tank I should have a cruising range of about 420 miles...
My order gets placed the 1st week of April, so I'm just about 1 week away. The incentives are good right now, the only thing is you don't get the incentives that are in place when you put down your downpayment, you get the incentives that are in place whenyou take delivery, so it is a crap shoot, maybe by end of May to first of June they will be better; who knows.
Cool, we can hook up, I should be camping at the IRL weekend too...
