Great post El Jefe. That Miata driver must have a broken left hand.

He had passed me early on the session and had gotten way ahead. Once I woke up, I worked on clawing him back. Took quite a few laps and I guess I never pressed him hard enough for a point. It was one of those rental race cars, I believe. No problem.

Tagged you guys on FB too. PSA about the Harbor Hotel. We should be fine but just be watchful for symptoms

https://www.news10.com/news/ny-news/...=facebook_WTEN

Officials say individuals who were guests at the hotel between July 16 and August 1, 2018 and were in proximity to the hotel's pool and spa may have been exposed to the bacteria.

The department is currently working with the hotel to reach guests who were on site during the potential exposure.

Legionella bacteria can cause a serious type of pneumonia called Legionnaires’ disease. The bacteria can also cause a less serious illness called Pontiac fever.

Officials say Legionnaires’ disease is very similar to other types of pneumonia, with symptoms that include cough, shortness of breath, fever, muscle aches, and headaches. Less common symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, and confusion. Symptoms usually begin two to ten days after being exposed to the bacteria, but it can take longer so people should watch for symptoms for about two weeks after exposure.

Legionnaires is nothing to fool with.
I had it once and nearly died. Spent 7 days in a hospital bed and took months to come back up to speed.
If you feel at all like the flu go see a doc.
The good news is I think it would have presented by now.

I can't say that I've ever been that sick. So glad that you pulled through.
