AP2 3rd, 4th, 5th.
3rd between Turn 1 and Turn 2. 6th maybe sometimes on the back straight just before the Bus stop. But mixed bag since soon need to downshift to 4th for the Bus Stop. |
Gerry - you should come join us next year. In the S2000 AP2 the following for the long course.
Turn 1 - 5th to 3rd Turn 2 - get into 4th between 1&2 Esses- up in 4th and shift to 5th at the top of the esses before the back straight. Bus Stop - downshift to 4th. Hold fourth through turn 6 Turn 7 - 3rd gear Turn 8 - 3rd or 4th Turn 9 - 3rd and then onto 4th Turn 10 - lift and back on the gas while in 4th Turn 11 - in 4th unless there is a slow car ahead. |
For the short course the only difference is a brake and downshift to 4th at Turn 10.

I actually stayed in 4th most of the course. Occasionally I would be in 3rd on the last corner depending on traffic.
