Default Looking for a shop to install springs

I'm looking for a shop to install a set of springs. Anywhere from the Buffalo/Rochester/Finger lakes area.
I don't think I'm up for the job myself.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

It's not a terribly difficult job. The only part that you won't be able to do on your own is the alignment.

Any shop that does shock replacements can do springs. It is not a specialized thing. You just need a trusted local mechanic. Like Jake said, you will need an alignment, so pick a shop that can do that too. (Although, I like to let springs settle a bit before an alignment.)

Not much help as Canandaigua is not all that close to Buffalo, but mine were done at Ontario Honda
I too was not interested in doing it myself
The older I get, the less I like rolling around on the floor, under the car
Having a lift and being under a car is one thing, being under the car with just a few inches to spare as it sits on jack stands is another thing entirely...

Don't have to crawl under the car to do springs.

But, I know how you feel.

Even with the wheels off, sitting on the floor in front of the wheel arch, I know at some point I would find myself crawling around under the car, may not have to, but I see it happening for one reason or another...

I remember the last time I was under the CRX-Si doing tranny fluid, that is a really tight squeeze, and I turned around and saw daylight between one of the jack stands and the jack stand point. I scurried out from under the car in a total panic, only to realize the car was firm as hell on three jack stands, my concrete floor is not perfectly level, and the structural rigidity of Rex is just flat out amazing, the damnn car was cantilevered on one corner. Later I laughed about it, but at the time I nearly chit a brick...

You could try calling some places listed as installers on Tirerack's site. You can search by zip code. Monro on Erie Av the first one listed that I saw which does springs and alignments. It worked well for me when I lived in Rochester.

Talk to Ryan Lynch at Red Eye Imports. They have a nice website to get the number. Tell him I sent you.
