MGA 1600 Race Engine - Part 2 - And other Misadventures

I'm saving the rocker cover for some really big event, like the Historic Festival. Too fancy to get all dirty on just a usual sprint race weekend.
I have to get a longer throttle cable. Both my throttle and choke cables lie on the top of the rocker cover and cause wear damage. I just fashioned that bracket that you see in the video, but I'm not too happy with it. I still need the longer throttle cable. As it is now, very difficult to pull off the rocker cover.
On top of all of that, I don't want to attract my Nemesis' attention to the engine.

The car has come together pretty quickly. Pretty much ready to go.
I replaced the studs on the rear hubs and I might be a tad low on differential fluid but I might be too lazy to double check. And the clutch slave doesn't seem to be leaking as I had feared.
I need to wash and set up my microphones for the video. Load on the trailer and that's about it!
But putting all my tools and race paraphernalia back together will be a two night project!

I need to go into work for a few hours. Then I hope to load up the MGA and head out to Lime Rock to load in. If all goes well, racing tomorrow and Saturday.
