I'll try to make it to those events! (Availability & $$ permitting). Never been on a track yet but I'm looking forward to it. I need to get myself a good SA2010+ helmet first. Any recommendations?

I picked up a new SA2015 helmet this year to maintain greater compliance on track. I got the Simpson Diamondback. Pros: Its super light and unbelievably comfortable, and you look like the Stig therefore you drive like the Stig. Cons: Its definitely a pricey piece. But if you see yourself tracking more regularly, safety equipment is always a good investment. That being said, there's a whole host of manufacturers and models out there to choose from.

For autocross SA2005 should still work. But if you plan to do track days all groups will want an SA2010 or an a SA2015 helmet.

I am considering driving down to New Joisey this weekend to a store that sells helmets. I'd like to get my hands on an Bell Sport EV helmet. I used that at Skippy school and i liked the fit and vision out of the wide visor.

Yeah I figured I should just make the investment in a SA2010+ so I don't have to buy another helmet down the road if I decide i'm ready to try the tracks out.

What sway bar do you recommend? Hands down, I would recommend the Karcepts bar. If on a budget, a used Gendron (Small Fortune Racing) bar is a good choice. I'm running a Gendron bar.
Offtopic; but I used a picture of your car i had on my camera from the event last year in my presentation on AutoX rules & Techniques. You were the example of "Driving at the limit"

S2000's in upstate NY are pretty rare. I mean we do only get like 6 months of top-down weather so I can't be too upset. Oh well
