Hey guys! I'm a big auto enthusiast and and seriously considering buying an S2000. I have a few E30s that I daily in the summer, Ice race in the winter, and hill climb in the spring. I'm really drawn to the S2000 and want to buy one this summer. I was wondering if anyone was local (near Burlington VT) and would like to meet up for a coffee and take me for a drive or maybe even let me drive ;-) I'll buy coffee and return the favor in my E30! Looking forward to joining the community!

Welcome to the forums. Come on out to a drive. Best bet to test drive one is to go to a dealership that's selling one. Cooley Mazda in East Greenbush typically has 1 or 2 on their lot.

Wait a minute!

We are having a drive on July 18, so there should be at least two cars (me and Levi), but likely more. Probable that we will hit either the Crown Point State Park or Essex (or both - or neither). Drive starts Exit 28, I-87 Northway. There is a thread started.

I unfortunately am booked the weekend of the 18, but thanks for the tip. Its great to head you guys organize drives and meets!

I would prefer to meet someone here in Vermont or upstate NY and talk to an individual who actually owns one of these cars, opposed to a dealership test drive. I'd probably be looking at an AP1 so if one of those is local, let me know! Of course thats not to say I would turn down a chance to see an AP2!

Maybe I'll drive up my AP2 if it survives Watkins Glen on the 8th. AP1s should be at the drive so see if you can come.

Well, if push comes to shove, I'll have my car in Elizabethtown NY on 4th of July weekend. But unresolved family plans take precedence. Of course, you can always drive by and TRY TO talk me into driving the T Road, and maybe even the E.P Road. PM me your phone number.

You may be unable to PM. There is a 2 week grace period for new guests. Of course if you signed up for a membership you can PM him right away. I'll send you Jeff's email address as you probably won't want to sign up until you acquire an S2000.
