New Guy, Christmas Eve Purchase
I pulled the trigger on a 2002 s2000 Christmas Eve. THe car is in Texas. A one owner with 40,000 miles, maintained at the Honda dealership since new. It's Suzuka Blue/ Blue. I am hoping to have it here before the end of the month.
Fasting and I have been friends for many years and it was his Love of the S2000 that got me interested. We have shared some cars over the years, not just the same model , but the same exact cars! I'm sure he can tell the stories better that I
My wife Carol and I enjoy the Vintage weekend at Watkins Glen. I remember a large number of S2000 on the Knapp Wine Tour. Is this an event most do?
That's all for now. When the car arrives I will post some pictures, that is when I learn how!

Welcome to the club Rich! While TripleH may disagree, you have chosen your color wisely. Seems to be popular here. Can't hurt to have another motorcyclist amongst us either.

Welcome from a New England Member.
Nice color choice! Just so you know, it's also called "Vintage Blue" since a few of us older S2000 owners seem to purchase that color.
We took a road trip to NY this past summer. Here is our S.
Depending on how much you like to travel, there is a meet in VA in May with the Vintage group.
Here's a link.
Spring Fling Always a fun time and a few NY folks have made it to these meets.
Also the New England Fall Crawl in early October is a smaller meet, but plenty of fun. A few NY guys have joined in on that one as well.

Welcome aboard Rich
Fasting is an awesome guy and a great ambassador for the S2000. I happen to think he has gotten more people into an S2000 and into this community than any Honda salesman ever.
You picked a fabulous color and model year.
I see that you also own a 1995 Porsche 911. Please be sure to share pics of that car too when you get a chance.
KSRT is a huge event especially since Triple-H the CO has been one of the key people behind it. If you have not made it out to that drive, I think you will love it.
I wish you all the best and am glad you have decided to join the group here and I hope your S has a safe transit from Texas.

Hey bub and welcome to the forum for upstate's misfits...
Let me know when you get the bad boy, and I'll be over to stare and see if there are any parts I can scarf off it.
Nick says hi too...

Hey congrats, sounds like you found yourself a wonderful AP1!
I ran the KNAPP Sporting Roadster Tour for like 8-years, but I steped down at the end of last year, it was just too much work for me as I just had to try and make each year better than the one prior. It got to be too much of a time commitment for me driving thousands of miles to come up with a route every year. Although I'm no longer the Chairperson, you should indeed check it out, and trust me when I say this - SIGN UP NOW!!!
