Had a long conversation with Mark. He explained his rationale behind why he wants to sell the car.

I've asked him to strongly reconsider his thoughts. Otherwise, I need to talk to JJ and see if I can buy it off of him

I'd love it for Mark to keep the car and stick around. He is a great ambassador for the car with his passion for it and how clean he keeps it.

The effects of concussions on race car drivers - I sincerely hope none of our track enthusiasts ever have to deal with such a medical issue. Also I just recently saw the movie, Concussion and so this article resonates with me even more. Stay safe out there

At Mark's request I've unapproved some posts and a thread I started. These will be restored in due course. Thanks.

Definitely agree Aashish. Also illustrates the importance of proper safety gear. Even though not everyone plans on racing their car, Rollbar/harness/HANS/seat should be strongly considered. You can still go fast enough in HPDE to get properly messed up. I gladly hacked up the interior of the car to fit the bar and soon to be seats and harnesses. After all, it only needs to work once to be worth it.

And I'll add that I was glad Dr. Enrique Guttin was available and checked you out right away at Palmer. I'm always a little relaxed when he is around at an event.

Agreed, his beard and humor were very relaxing. Although that finger thing got me nervous for a moment
