next eng mod...
So I've been researching on some engine upgrades, especially from reading the Honda & Acura Performance Handbook by Mike Ancas published in 2004. There isn't much support about the S2000 as it was a new Honda when this book was published. But I am curious as to replacing fuel injectors to a bigger size.
So the question is; Should I go to a slightly bigger size injector to accomodate the engine mods installed now?
What size do you fellas recommend if so? (Dave and Jsenclosures, your thoughts based on your experiences?)
I realize that a proper engine tune on the dyno will yield the best results as every car is differnt to some degree. But with a large injector size this should, in theory, provide the extra piece in the puzzle.
Thanks guys.

If it helps, current mods I've done thus far include the header, hi-flo cat, exhaust, intake system, 3mm overbore throttle body, Hondata head gasket. I'm just looking for an N/A tune at some point, no cams as of yet and no VTEC controller installed either.
The ECU is the stock unit as well.

Jeremy, I don't know if I'm a fair comparison as I'm forced induction and quite modified. I'm running 750's. Might be a good idea to stop at Synapse when you get back and pick Morgans brain.

Yeah, I thought I could talk it out with those guys at some time as they've had more than a few S2k's in their shop.
The ECU tuning will come after the injectors are swapped out. So no Flashpro for now.

would have your duty cycle checked. It may not be beneficial to go with bigger injectors.

If you're staying NA bigger injectors won't give you any advantage. Get an aem or other stand alone, and get a tune. The stock injectors are more than enough for NA
Unless your going FI injectors won't do you any good.

Sounds good then, if anything the current injectors on there now could probably use a good cleaning as the car is now over 10 years old.
Sound advice guys, thanks for the input.
