Default Nice cars driving on crappy, salty roads...

Just returned to the area this week and despite the fact the temps are colder here than where I've been, I've noticed some nice cars out and about and the roads in my region are horribly white with salt, wet at times.

So just this week I've seen a sweet white (SW20) Toyota MR2, black 370Z, yellow Corvette (C6), and I believe it was a pristine looking white CRX in Burnt Hills to boot. And although it was parked out front, Lia Nissan in Colonie has a white GTR! Awesome!

I know times are tough, some folks don't have the winter beater to plug around in, others are trying to go down to 7 rounds per clip, ya know, but the CRX and MR2 are just too nice and older now to just subject them to the nasty NY winters.

Sorry Skip, your car is on the list too but I realize everyone has a reason. Car washes are the best medicine right now.

So ahhh, when do we get together to see some Supercars at the Saratoga Auto Museum?

Jeremy, welcome back. Hopefully it won't be till after the roads are clear of the salt.

Jeez, now that's cold! I've been working outside this whole past week on a rooftop right on the Hudson River. And I was complaining that it was 5 degrees. 21 below is just a little too crazy for me! Thank god for subzero Carhartts

Funny you say this, saw a Maserati GranTurismo last night coming out of the restaurant we ate dinner at.

It was caked in salt. Texas license plates. We speculated whether it had summer tires on it
