I'm of the same opinion.
And of course, we could add a nice del Sol to that list too

Yeah, it doesn't take long to disintegrate anything on our roads.

Talking about cars driving in crappy weather...There was a broken down silver S on the southbound side of the Northway at exit 11 today. Anyone know who it is?? Today's weather would've been a rough to drive in!!

I'm of the same opinion
Even lots of washing only slows down the disintegration a tiny bit
Not all places seem to use the amount of salt like they use here
Here though, the towns just go crazy with the stuff

Yeah, plus being a Honda, reliability is king, had it two years and only thing that's gone bad is a wheel bearing and a fuel injector o ring

Sort of the same thing with my '90 CRX-Si
110,000 miles, basically been a care-free car
A car mind you that got hammered around Watkins Glen for a decade
Rear wheel bearings are about the only failure I have experienced

Well technically it's 112,290, I just checked
I bought the car used in Feb of 1991, it was an early to mid-year '90
I got it with about 13,000 miles on it from a Saturn dealer in Syracuse
I drove it that winter, and then the winter of '91-92 and then retired it from winter use
That's when I got my 1st pickup, so for the vast majority of its life it has only been a seasonal driver
And of course, the 1st couple of years I had the S it got very little use
For the last 10-years it only seems to get from 500 to 2,500 miles per year is all
It is for sure a garage queen, it lead a hard life when it was my track car so I figure it has earned the privilege of being a garage queen
