I know what you mean about the thick body thing. I changed out shocks and springs and struts on my Honda Fit in July and it was a bitch! I have lost about 20 lbs since then and stuff like that have gotten much easier. I even get into the S2000 with the top up in one semi smooth motion!! Only 80 more to go

Getting harder to enter and exit the car,but as long as I can push the clutch pedal,it's a keeper.
And Dave, you still have the M-B GLA,to use as a daily.

Hi Dave, just got back from New Zealand on a little trip with our planes but I'm not planning on going to Antarctica this season. Getting ready to retire shortly from the Guard, and currently looking at jobs out there to see what there is.

So I'm home now.

Most of the damage was over the northern part of the south island, 60 miles from where I was. Mainly farms, some older structures, and 1 major artery road that runs the east coast with landslides and such. Tsunami warnings were going off but the waves weren't more than 3 meters, mostly.

How did I miss this? Are you still planning on selling, Dave?

As some know, we picked up a P car this week (2012 Boxter with 12K on the odometer) We've had our S for 12 years and 93K miles of fun. Though many feel the vehicles are bullet proof, we start to get a little hesitant to make road trips in a car with close to 100K which isn't made anymore.

So now we are a four car family....but not for long. The big dilemma is what to sell. We are leaning towards selling the WRX, keeping the S as Rick's daily driver, outfitting it with proper tires for winter driving. Neither one of us is ready to part with the S. Final decision will be make in the next few months.

Dave, we fear if we sell, we would be sorry. We know the S has more fun miles to go....

Yes Lainey, still planning on it. Probably for the Spring market. These bones are still performance oriented but crave newer, more luxurious accommodation.

We're hoping our old bones hold out since we may hang on to the S as a daily driver. I can't say we won't enjoy the creature comforts in the P car (as well as the bigger trunk) on our road trips.

Enjoy whatever vehicle you do decide to purchase, Dave.
