Id do it right now if I could get to it.
I'm thinking of grounding the light blue interlock relay wire, but didn't want to pull that fuse block.
I just made a hard loop out of some solid 18(?) gauge wire and zip-tied it onto the connector.

Easy to undo should the need arise and less intrusive than a scothlok IMHO.

It's a tight squeeze under there for sure but I don't understand why anyone would want to bypass the clutch interlock switch either. A solution to what problem?

Perhaps he is trying to test /start the car in the garage and doesn't want to have to crawl in and out every time.
As someone getting older I can sympathize if that's it

Most other markets don't have the switch, but us dumb Americans with a lawyers on retainer smell lawsuits. I know how to start a car. I don't need TPMS and some other nannies either. I liken this to the top down mod.

The purpose of this is thrust surface longevity. Most wear happens at cold start, and if the crank isn't loaded at startup, it only makes sense that the thrust face which is only a small half moon surface may live a lot longer.
The engine is smoked if the crank walks. Granted, many, many folks will have no issue ever. I choose to start in neutral, or if I want to, also start with clutch in.

...Oh, and Jake, thank you for offering up your help at next mod day. This old bod of mine is R-19 in a tee shirt and just doesn't bend like it used to. I think I'd be a strange extrusion like what would come out of play dough fun factory if I squeezed in there. You're a hero dude...

i finally got it!

so instead of unplugging the switch, i managed to pull the wire down just enough to tap into them using these posi 20-22 gauge taps...i don't know how the other guys are able to strip and solder these wires in such a small space!
